Wendy Anderson leaves an ever lasting legacy at A-State

The outpour of support shown on social media by current Arkansas State students, faculty and the A-State community proves Wendy Anderson will continue to inspire  people long after her death. Mama Wendy, as she was known to many people surrounding the A-State football team, died Monday night after her battle with breast cancer.

A memorial service held in honor of Wendy Anderson’s life will take place on Friday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. The service will take place at Central Baptist Church on Harrisburg Road in Jonesboro.

Athletic programs from around the country expressed their sentiment to the Anderson family on social media further adding to the wealth of tweets expressed by those in the A-State community.
