Soccer falls in SBC Championship to end historic season

The Arkansas State soccer team fell to South Alabama 5-1 in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Sunday in Foley, Alabama.

Sarah Sodoma scored the lone goal for the Red Wolves in the 43rd minute.

The Red Wolves tied their all-time record for most wins in a season with 11 victories on the year and played in the SBC Championship for the first time in program history.

Four Red Wolves made the All-Tournament team at the SBC tournament. Sodoma, Olivia Smith, Hailey Furio and Megan McClure were all given All-Tournament honors.
