The Arkansas State volleyball team fell to the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns 3-1 in the First National Bank Arena Friday night.

With the loss, the Red Wolves dropped to 6-9 in the Sun Belt Conference and 15-12 overall. Louisiana improved to 9-6 in the SBC and 13-15 overall.

A-State looked plenty capable of beating a Ragin’ Cajun team that swept them earlier in the season, but A-State just could not edge out Louisiana.

Hali Wisnoskie had a great game for the visitors, the junior led Louisiana with 17 kills.

Two Red Wolves registered double digit kills in the game as Timber Terrell and Macey Putt both accounted for 11 kills each. Putt had a double double on the night as she also accounted for 15 digs.

Setters Julianna Cramer and Malgorzata Andersohn registered 18 and 11 assists respectively.
