Campus Crime update: A-State football player not charged

In the Nov. 4 edition of The Herald, the Campus Crime section noted A-State football wide receiver Jonathan Adams was arrested for possession of a handgun on a school campus and transported to the Craighead County Jail. A referral for the smell of marijuana and possession of a firearm was also submitted to the university.

According to The Jonesboro Sun, Adams was released from the Craighead County Detention Center seven hours after being arrested. The Sun also reported prosecutors said they would not be filing charges.
