With ongoing winter weather and a continuing ice storm warning, Arkansas State University will continue to work remotely for Thursday, February 11, 2021.

The Jonesboro area has icing on roadways and some elevated surfaces today.  The National Weather Service in Memphis’ forecast calls for more freezing rain tonight with lows in the mid-20s.

All essential personnel for on-campus operations will continue to report as usual, and the campus is not closed.

As with Wednesday, all on-campus classes will shift to remote course delivery for Thursday. Instructors are asked to reach out to their students as soon as practical to let them know how the learning material will be delivered.

Non-essential staff members will continue to work remotely on Thursday.

Thursday on-campus student non-classroom activities are postponed.

On-campus support areas, including Student Housing, Campus Dining, and the Dean B. Ellis Library will continue operations under their essential personnel policies.  On-campus dining operations will continue with their brunch schedule.  The Red W.O.L.F. Center remains closed.

A determination on the remote learning/working plan for Friday will be made Thursday afternoon.
