Arkansas State Chancellor Dr. Kelly Damphousse announced in an email Friday afternoon that A-State is preparing for full in-person and on-campus activity for the summer 2021 and fall 2021 semesters.
He said in the email he anticipates to have the same proportion of in-person classes in the fall 2021 semester as the university did in the fall 2019 semester.
“The declining number of COVID cases on campus (and across the state) has been accompanied by improving therapeutics and the introduction of three vaccines,” Damphousse said. “These changes lead me to be confident that we can resume many of the activities — academic, athletic, and community — that define campus life at A-State this fall.”
