Students joined in the Unity March on campus to celebrate Zero Discrimination Day, March 1. Candace Evans rallied the crowd with self-reflecting questions, “what does discrimination mean” and “are you truly the best version of yourself?” The Student Activities Board supplied signs, napkins decorated with flags, and a banner for the participants to sign.

The opera, Der Schauspieldirektor performed at A-State. This one-act production is a singspiel, meaning a comic opera with spoken dialogue. The music was sung in German with English subtitles, and the script was in English with the appropriate accents.
The A-State Orchestra, directed by Dr. Suren Petrosyan, provided full accompaniment.

The Bradbury Art Museum held a time of yoga and relaxation at their latest exhibition, the Delta News Small Prints Exhibition. The class taught by yoga and meditation teacher, Bethany Davis, focused on the mind/body/breath connection and emphasize the practice of connecting back to the true self.

Howlympics is a day of lawn game tournaments with opportunities to win so many amazing prizes!
The Health Promotion students are raising money for JeLynn Tatum, a former Red Wolf who was in a car accident, resulting in paralysis from the chest down. Our goal is to raise as much money as we can for her to help her with her medical needs.
This event will be easy to participate in, just stop by between classes or before you leave campus.

Kick off Volunteer A-State’s Make A Statement Week by making a toy for a pup at the NEA Humane Society. All materials will be provided. While there, grab a random acts of kindness slip for ideas on how to make someone’s day.
Make A Statement Week aims to pair A-State students with service opportunities both on campus and in the community each day for a week.
