STUDENT SPEAK: What is your midterm survival tip?

Lauren Dewey is a junior accounting major from Mountain Home, Arkansas. 

“Make sure you’re still getting fresh air. Being outside a little bit always helps.”
Cassidy Lamb is a senior English major from North Little Rock.
“Study your hardest and go to office hours if your professor provides them.”
Jaden Flanigan is a senior sports management major from Jonesboro. 

“Don’t take it lightly. I know midterms aren’t considered finals but I would treat them like finals. Midterms can really make or break how the rest of your year can go.”
Grant Nesmith is a first-year graduate student majoring in psychology from Little Rock.

“Look ahead and don’t wait to study.”

“Get lots of sleep and don’t stress. Eat healthy meals because that’s important too.”

“You’ll have a lot more fun if you find some friends to bunker down and study with.”

“Read your syllabus, everything you’d ever need to know is actually in there, believe it or not.”

“Accept that you have to put your social life on the back burner. Midterms will kill you and you don’t expect that.”

“Just because you pay attention during a lecture doesn’t mean you already know everything. Make sure you study and take full advantage of the library.”
