The Omicron Tau Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. hosted the first ever Mr. Rhomeo Pageant Saturday.

The pageant is planned to be an annual event. The three men that placed were: Third place, Mr. Royal Blue and Gold was Kendrick Blair, a sophomore music education major from Marion; Second place Mr. 1922, Kyle Johnson, a sophomore biology major from Nassau, Bahamas; and First Place Mr. Rhomeo was Jonathan Schaufler, a junior nursing major from Salem.

Schaufler was awarded a $500 scholarship for winning. During his reign as Mr. Rhomeo, Schaufler will focus on his community service initiative Period Poverty to supply women in need with period products.
