Student Speaks: “If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?”

Aubrey Shalk is a first year history major from Jonesboro.

“Probably Abigail Adams, so that I could pick at her brain. But for childhood nostalgia, then Laura Ingalls Wilder, because I was obsessed with those books.”

“Probably Martin Luther King Jr. to ask for more detail about the dream that he had and what gave him the confidence to act on it.”

“I would probably say Jesus Christ, because there are a lot of questions I’d want to ask him about his life in general. So I just feel like that’d be a very informative conversation. Just sit down with somebody like that.”
