Students still receiving mental health services

The A-State Counseling Center will continue to do everything in its power to provide counseling services to students in need. It is offering counseling through Therapy Assistance Online Connect and Zoom Video Communications.

Zoom Video Communications is a video conferencing service being used by the counseling center and some professors during quarantine.

Students must consent to video conferencing, and are instructed to participate in their video counseling sessions in a place where they will not be interrupted or overheard.

The Counseling Center is keeping its offices open for students in need. For some, social isolation can negatively impact their mental health. Students can still come in for face-to-face counseling on a case-by-case basis.
